Beginning October 1, 2017, Gundersen Health Plan, Unity Health Insurance and Physicians Plus Insurance Corporation will all join forces under the Quartz brand name. This means that members will continue to have high-quality and affordable coverage. In addition, members can get broad access to local primary care and specialty physicians at Gundersen Health System, UnityPoint Health – Meriter and UW Health per their plan’s network structure. Quartz Health Solutions, Inc., also continues to be a third-party administrator of self-funded health plans.

If you are currently a member of either Gundersen Health Plan (Gundersen) or Unity Health Insurance (Unity), rest easy. You’ll continue to have access to your doctors, along with high-quality coverage and customer service. In fact, depending on your health plan network structure, members can have access to a wide range of care providers – including Gundersen Health System in the La Crosse area and UW Health and UnityPoint Health – Meriter in Dane County and the surrounding areas.
